Carolina works with children 5 to 8 through play, drawing and storytelling, and meets with parents on a schedule they agree on.
About us
A six-year-old, a fifteen-year-old and their parents need different rooms. We built one practice with all of them.
Our four clinicians each work with one age group, and meet regularly to talk about how families move between them. Whatever the age, we start by listening to the parents, and we explain how sessions work before anyone is asked to share anything.
A playroom for younger children, a conversation room for older ones and a plain office for parents.
Parents meet the clinician first, and hear about progress on a schedule they agree on.
We explain what stays private and what a parent is told before the first session, and again whenever you ask.
